BAUER Foundations Canada Inc. was contracted by Stuart Olson Construction to construct a tangent pile wall, and foundation piles for a parking garage and squash courts.

A BAUER BG 28 rotary drill rig was used to install 67 tangent 1,200 mm diameter piles to a depth of 18 m. Prior to installing the tangent piles, BAUER Foundations Canada Inc. installed a shoring wall using driven steel H-piles with wood lagging. This wall was required to allow excavation for a level platform to install the tangent piles. Bored piles 880 mm diameter and 12 m deep were installed to support the squash courts and parking garage. Micropiles 200 mm diameter and 12 m deep were installed to support a new structure between the outdoor swimming pool and the existing building in a limited access area.
